MENTOR

We are currently looking for Mentors that are experienced, energetic, fun, patient, and most importantly, enjoy working with tweenagers. Becoming a Mentor is the most rewarding way to get involved with Camp Erio. Each Mentor will be responsible for the same 5-6 campers every day, so you have the unique opportunity to build close and lasting relationships. By being a Mentor, you will get just as much as of the experience as they do.

Responsibilities:

Each Mentor will be responsible for the same 5-6 campers every day, which includes not only supporting them with camp activities and exercises but also parent drop off, pickup, and general supervision. Over the course of the 3 days, there are times when the campers will be all together, but mainly they will be in small breakout groups for discussion and problem solving related to real-life marketing issues. You will be expected to lead this discussion and talk them through different scenarios and ideas. There will also be Volunteers each day that will help you out as needed.

We realize taking three days away from work may be very challenging. You will have blocks of time each day where you can step away to take calls, answer emails, and catch up on work. If your company has a Corporate Volunteer Policy, we are also happy to complete any paperwork that may be required. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

SPEAK

We are always on the lookout for interesting Speakers to come inspire our campers. Speakers must be energetic, fun, and patient, and most importantly, they must enjoy working with tweenagers (it’s a real thing, I swear). The majority of our speakers have a background in marketing and/or business, but not all.

VOLUNTEER

We are looking for Volunteers that are reliable, organized, and energetic. There are a number of Volunteer opportunities that are critical to the success of the camp and making sure everything runs smoothly. Preference will be given to those who can attend all 3 days although it is not required.

Here are a few examples:

• Camper drop-off and pickup
• Managing food and caterer deliveries
• Setting up rooms for upcoming activities
• Handling parent/guardian inquiries throughout the day
• Supervising campers as needed
